Mobile devices, especially iPads and iPhones, are an integral part of the workplace. They enable employees to work more flexibly and productively away from their own desks, for example at a customer’s site, in a branch office or in a home office.
Mobile workplaces are only complete when printing from them is possible. But if work is done from the iPad or iPhone via a remote or virtual desktop session, printing is either not possible at all or only via inefficient ways.
This white paper addresses the challenges of mobile printing from remote or virtual desktop sessions with iPads and iPhones. It also shows ways to implement direct printing with iOS devices directly from the session.
