St. Michael’s House Elevates Disability Support with ThinPrint’s Secure Printing Solutions

St. Michael’s House provides a comprehensive range of services and supports to men, women, and children with disabilities and their families in 170 locations in the greater Dublin Area. It supports about 2,300 people and this has an impact on thousands of family members. St. Michael’s House is a company funded by the Health Service Executive (HSE), TUSLA, and the Department of Education and Skills.

Michael Kearns, Lead Systems Engineer at St. Michael´s House, tells that they were moving from 150 plus site-to-site VPNs, using Citrix on thin clients. They had no way of secure printing within this setup, until their Citrix Partner demo’d ThinPrint to them.

ThinPrint, he says is easy to manage, especially since they moved to using virtual print drivers. Mr. Kearns: “Citrix & printing can be very difficult to manage. But using virtual print queues has changed that for us.”  He adds: “We looked around, and ThinPrint was the only one that ticked all our requirements.”

Michael Kearns: “From sales to support, working with ThinPrint has been a seamless process. It has resolved both our print security & allowed us to be device agnostic moving ahead. We are looking forward to using ThinPrint for our GDPR print requirements going forward.”
