ThinPrint, provider of the world’s leading print management software, offers the PowerShell-based ThinPrint Management Services Beta – a solution that can flexibly migrate existing print infrastructure from no longer supported Windows 2003 print servers to new server operating systems.

On July 14 the official support for Windows Server 2003 ended, meaning that many Microsoft customers have to migrate their old servers to newer operating systems. That includes Windows 2003 print servers too. This presents many administrators with a timing and logistical challenge.

ThinPrint has the answer with its PowerShell-based ThinPrint Management Services. In a webinar video, ThinPrint Consultants show the live migration of an existing Windows 2003 print infrastructure to a new system. They use a combination of Microsoft Tools and the PowerShell-based ThinPrint Management Services. The ThinPrint Management Services are currently available free as a beta version.
