Devices for Secure Pull Printing with Card and PIN Authentication
Personal Printing is a vendor-independent solution, suitable for any printer model. Once a barcode or NFC tag is attached to a printer, it is then ready for Personal Printing and authentication via a smartphone. For user authentication via RFID cards or PIN entry, Personal Printing software is installed directly on the printer or on the computer which communicates with the printers. Alternatively, special authentication hardware enables confidential printing using RFID technology.
The following devices are suitable for user authentication via RFID cards or PIN entry. They have successfully passed a standardized certification test and have been awarded the ThinPrint Certified seal.
