Clients for Card/PIN Authentication

Personal Printing Client for HP – only for printers with HP FutureSmart 3 + 4

To use card and/or PIN authentication with HP printers, please download the Personal Printing Client for HP in addition to the Personal Printing server software. Install the Personal Printing Client for HP on printers equipped with card readers. These devices are then available for Personal Printing use by your employees. Additionally, PIN entry at the printer can be enforced.

HP firmware version: FutureSmart 3 + 4

Known issue: Because of memory problems with the HP firmware/print devices, printers can sometimes restart, for example after printing or after logins and logouts (for HP FutureSmart 4 only).
