Dynamic Printer Matrix
The Dynamic Printer Matrix is the name translation table of .print AutoConnect, which lets you specify exactly which printers should be mapped and to which templates they are to be linked. This means that you can limit bandwidth for the same employee both at home and during travel, allowing him or her to easily print even from the "narrow" line. However, once he or she logs in at the office, he or she has access to the entire bandwidth.
Alternatively, you can assign the Output Gateway to all users who log in from a Windows PC - then you can print anytime, no matter where you are and what types of printers are available at your location.
The Dynamic Printer Matrix allows you to assign printers based on IP range, client, printer, class or driver name. Furthermore, AutoConnect automatically knows whether it is a Windows, Unix, Java or other client type. Therefore the table greatly simplifies printer management.
