AutoConnect
With AutoConnect – a component of each ThinPrint Engine – the right printers are always at hand.
How it works: Using terminal servers or virtual desktops, you can connect a server or desktop on which the ThinPrint Engine is installed. AutoConnect will set up your local printers during the session, allowing you to conveniently use all your local printers. Even if printers or workstations change regularly, you always have access to the current printers in the session.
AutoConnect in the session: AutoConnect becomes active by default as soon as someone logs in or out. When logging in from a remote computer, AutoConnect queries the printer list and properties from the respective ThinPrint Client and provides them to the session user. When the session is ended, the printers created by AutoConnect on the remote computer are deleted. However, it is also possible to map network printers without ThinPrint Clients into the session.
Advanced printer properties: If AutoConnect is used together with the virtual driver ThinPrint Output Gateway, printer properties such as paper trays, duplex, color/black&white, punching or stapling are also loaded from the original printer driver to the server or desktop.

Convenient printer mapping: AutoConnect's Dynamic Printer Matrix as well as the Map Additional Printers table is particularly convenient.
Central print servers: AutoConnect connects the shared printers installed on a print server to the user sessions on terminal servers, virtual desktops or workstations. The printer creation on the central print server can easily done using the Management Center and its configuration settings can be imported to AutoConnect's Dynamic Printer Matrix.
